Maria Tartaglia: Singer-Entertainer-Composer

Maria Tartaglia is a singer/composer/entertainer. She studies composing and Vocal performance at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam. She is one of the 2024 winners of the “Wild Center Music commission” from Tupper Lake’s Wild Center, the 2nd place winner of the "Sitka Lutheran Church Organ Competition in 2025" and has composed the theme music for Season 4 of the Society of Music Theory's Podcast! She has performed in many locations including at Fallfest, Summerfest and Porchfest in Potsdam, Madrid Dam Music Series for two summers, keyboard and vocals for the local rock band 11B, has sung at wedding receptions at Mr. Mike’s Pizza in Lake Placid, Eyelands In Massena, McDuff’s Pub, and many more locations.

                   Education:

Maria's undergrad comes from studying at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, N.Y. as a double major in Voice and Composition. She plans to pursue a Master's Degree.




                   Personal Life
In her free time, Maria love reading mystery novels, writing/performing music, singing an occasional sea shanty, taking walks, dancing in her kitchen to disco music, watching documentaries and attempting to cook.
